Starbucks has a Matrix Organization Structure.

Matrix Organization Structure is a hybrid mix of different features from the basic type of organizational structure.

In this case, structure design involves intersection among various components of the business. For example: the company's product based divisions intersect with functional group and geographic divisions which turns intersect with other parts of the organization.

Main features of Starbucks Organizational Structure are:

1. Geographic divisions

2. Product based divisions

3. Functional hierarchy i.e. groupings based on business function

4. Teams

Observations noter on the two parameters are as follows

1. Coordinating activities= Starbucks culture encourages collaborative efforts through effective communication.

At the cafe, there is proper delegation of duties and communicate clearly to fulfill the orders. They collaborate as teams thus promoting efficiency.

2. Reporting relationship= Starbucks has an organizational structure that supports warm and friendly relationships amongst employees. This feature of company's culture extends to customers who are treated with warmth.

There is completely warmth relationship between the Managers and other employees.
