The current can take different paths in a parallel circuit, the current isn't constant throughout a parallel circuit. Instead, for branches that are connected in parallel with one another, the voltage or potential drop across each branch is constant. This is because the current distributes itself across each branch in amounts that are inversely proportional to the resistance of each branch.

The power dissipated is inversely proportional to resistance of each branch as

P=V^2/R

So it is also varies.

In parallel circuits equivalent resistance is always lesser than the resistance of any one branch.

Hence option (a) potential difference is same
