By actively seeking the disabled workers as a part of diversity enhancement and helping for the casue of social justice, the organisation might set itself apart from the scores of organisations which are not very particular for the cause, or the ones which are reluctant to do so. This positive image, spread through the media, word of mouth among the customers or through industry reports, might help to build a positive image of the business, which could get the company more business, enhance brand value, create goodwill and attract posiitve and favourable measures from the government. Disadvantages include need of extra manpower in some cases, where the disability might limit the employee's capacity to certain tasks only, lack of flexibility in some cases due to inclusion of disabled manpower in the team among others.

The program gives benefit to the Pepsico to build a good and positive brand image among the consumers through its social initiative, and achieve competitive advantage. The positive effect can be assessed by the social media followings of the posts highlighting the social initiatives of the company, and the enhanced sales after such initiatives are highlighted in the media and comes in knowledge of customers.
