I need some help with these questions. Should leaders hire only those people who can work with the leader’s leadership style? Why or why not? Thanks.

No, a leader should be aware that it is their responsibility to change their leadership style based on the needs of their subordinates and not the other way around. Only hiring individuals suited to their leadership style will end up creating a deficit in terms of vision, talent, and even considerations such as commitment. The lack of diversity would stun the growth that can be achieved and, therefore, end up hindering innovation. Since conformity is the enemy of innovation, hiring individuals with similar affinity would only decrease the opportunities that can be established and exploited by the teams. Therefore, a leader should always think about the requirements of the team rather than what fits their style.
