I just posted this a little bit ago, but they forgot the include the "count the number of nests found and record the data" one.

In a 50 square-mile section of a forest, there are some cut patches of forest where the trees have been removed and some patches of the forest that have been left uncut. Birds are nesting in both cut and uncut forest patches. Beginning with the first step, place the steps in sequence for an invesigation of the nesting birds using the scientific method. a) Observe birds nesting in cut patches and uncut patches of forest. b) Identify several patches of cut forest and several patches of uncut forest and decide how to conduct nest counts in them. c) hypothesize that more birds nest in cut forest patches. d) count the number of nests found and record the data. e) compare the data collected concerning nests from cut and uncut patches of forest. f) determine whether more birds nest in cut or uncut forest patches and share this conclusion with other researchers.
