Given that ,

mean = \mu = 3286.7 ( male)

standard deviation = \sigma = 585.2

x = 1600

Using z-score formula,

z = x - \mu / \sigma   

z = 1600 - 3286.7 / 585.2

z = -2.88 ( male)

2) mean = \mu = 3071.2 ( female)

standard deviation = \sigma = 714.5

x = 1600

Using z-score formula,

z = x - \mu / \sigma   

z = 1600 - 3071.2 / 714.5

z = -2.06 ( female)

Since the z-score for the male is z = -2.88 and the z-score for the female is z = -2.06, female has the weight that is more extreme
