if the objective of the firms is to maximize employment then it should do nothing. as surprising as it may sound the unions can cause more harm to the employment situation. unions, just like the government policies create artificial restrictions on the labor market. if we know that the unions want to maximize total employment and it cannot affect the labor demand of the firm, then it is in the best interest of the labor if the union stays away and doesn't create any artificial restrictions on the marketLalbos a Label Unions lisuelly create supply artificiel restructions on the merket bey increasing the largaining power of the
