The various applications of gps technology are as follows

1.Agriculture :-Farmers can put gps receivers on tractors and other agricultural equipment to map their plantation and can ensure that they return to exactly same areas while sewing their seeds this may help them to plant in low visibility

2.Science :-Earth scientists can use this technology to perform a no of experiments and research. Gps receivers can be installed on solid bedrocks to understand very small as well as very slow changes to tectonic plate motion across the world

3.Aviation :-Commercial jets use gps to show passengers where aircraft is on the map at any given time.

In the real time system we are often concerned about quality information instead of quantitative information... For ex - Application if gps in monitoring and managing disaster events as a high precision is required in each process
