4) Ozone layer is very important for the survival of life in the planet earth. The ozone layer in the stratosphere helps in blocking the harmful ultra violet radiation. The radiation is of short wavelength but high frequency. These would affect the growth, survival, or reproduction of these planktons.As, phytoplankton is the base of the marine food web, acts either directly or indirectly as a source of food for all other organisms. This would have deleterious effect on the whole marine food web.

5) The phrase global warming is innacurate as the name suggest some serious problem in the environment. But, from years our planet is warming. After years of warming it will enter into glaciation period. Only, thing to bother now is the increase in greenhouse gases due to anthropogenic activities. It is known that from the industrial revolution time the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has increased.

6) The climate chnage tipping point is the stage where an irreversible change occcurs in the climate system.

The disintegration of antartic icesheets: Due to rise in the average global temperature, the ice sheets in the antartic will melt. This will result in a positive feedback loop, which will indirectly raise the sea-level. This will submerge several coastlands.

Permafrost and methane hydrates: Permafrost is the name given to the rock, soil in which organic matter is buried. This is in sub zero tempertaure. As, the temperature increases, the frozen permafrost would be thawed. Due, to this microorganisms would break the organic matter and carbon dioxide would be released to the atmosphere. This would further increase the average global temperature.
