a)SHREVE STRGAM ORDERING WENDY 1 STRAHLER STREAM ORDERING RENDY RUN

b)Benthic Macroinvertebrates are the larval stages of insects which live in water during the stage , they lack a backbone.

Waterbodies which have a large variety of these species are said to be free from pollution and are said to be healthy for fish or aquatic life.

c)Submerged Wave Terrace or SWT is 12'' for that area which means that there is a sediment deposition landform of 12'' which is hard to excavate .Building of houses with basement is difficult because it involves more excavation.

d) 30'' is required annually.

A certain area of sand outcrop recharges 5'' per year so , 6 times the area of sand outcrop is required to supply the farm.

e)Groundwater is recharged by rainfall or any form of precipitation , any water that seeps through the soil to the water table , recharges groundwater .Wetlands are areas where the water table is closer to the surface so, wetlands do not recharge groundwater.

f)The content of water or moisture held by the soil after the decrease in the rate of downward movement of water and the drainage of excess water is called Field capacity.

The minimum  amount of water required , below which the plant will wilt is called Wilting point.

g)An opening in the epidermis of the leaf through which the exchange of gases occur is called Stoma .A group of stoma is called Stomata .

h)During Summer-fall , when there is no or less precipitation , the ground water is not recharged moreover, during summer the heat leads to evaporation of surface water due to which there is a decrease in the level of groundwater .
