School-age children are expected to acquire the skill of memorizing various names and learning the names is the first and most important step taught to the school-age children. There are various tricks and strategies that make it easier to teach and help the child enhance his/her memorization. Some of the helpful strategies which help in memorizing names are as follows:

• Recognization is the first step which leads to memorization. In order to help the child memorize names, it is too important to make the child familiar with all the alphabets which construct a name or any word.
• One of the various tricks to make memorization an easy task are is using the labeling method. By having a look at a label or a tag carrying names consequently, increases the chance of memorizing it faster.
• With repeated exposure and practice recognizing each other’s names, the children begin to identify letters.
• Writing and repetition increase the chances for children to learn to recognize their own name and their friends’names and learn how to spell them.
