kinetic energy = p^2 / 2m

p = sqrt ( 2mK)

where m = mass of the object

K = kinetic energy

since p1 = p2

sqrt(2m1K1) = sqrt ( 2m2K2)

m2/m1 = K1/K2

since m2/m1 is greater than 1

K1/K2 > 1

K2 < K1

object 1 has higher kinetic energy than object 2
