the sample space for the following experiment is { HHH,HHT,HTH,THH,TTH,THT,HTT,TTT }

Where 1st outcome denote the result of tossing a coin which is thrown by me and remaining are thrown by my friends.

(a) only I will have to pay for the following cases : HTT and THH (according to the rule)

so the probability that only i will have to pay the bill is 2/8 = 1/4

(b) all three will share for the following cases: HHH and TTT

so the probability that all three will share is 2/8 = 1/4 .
