7. True because thhe hydrophilic i.e water-loving portion of a phospholipid is the polar head and the hydrophobic portion is the non polar tail.

8.hypotonic. When the red blood cell is placed in a hypotonic solution it will bloat up and may explode because extracellular fluid has lower osmolarity then the fluid inside the cell
