Cloud computing in Information Technology is an idea and technical advancement which enables a space where system resources and services work over the Internet. Cloud computing uses a network of many remote server that can be called in singular as a cloud which can be used to store, manage, process data than a local server by the help of Internet, being connected to the internet and having minimal processing overhead by the organization.
There are many advantages of using cloud computing. Some are: Cost Cutting ,Security ,Flexibility ,Mobile , Quality ,Availability and Disaster Recovery, Automatic regular updates.

Despite it's advantages Cloud computing in Information Technology raises significant security concerns about security and privacy. As the companies who use the cloud services use it to store customer information and other sensitive data related to the business, thus security concern is a big concern with using the cloud services. Also, privacy is a big concern as being private while storing and retrieving information, and such that data remains private, is very important and necessary.

Thus over an insecure medium such as the internet and storing information on the cloud servers is a privacy concern as well, as it can be attacked and compromised by anybody using the internet. There are many concerns arising out of the security and privacy of the cloud computing. Some of the concerns again keeping in mind security and privacy are:
Data Breaches occurring on cloud services
Hijacking of the cloud accounts
Insider information leakage
Malware Attack on Cloud services
Denial of Services attacks on cloud services to bring down the Cloud services
Thus we know that the Cloud computing in Information Technology despite its great promise raises significant security concerns as above.
