I need number 4. The different chemical tests were sudan IV test for lipid, biuret test for protein, Benedict's test for reducing sugars, and iodine test for starch.

4. The biochemical tests given here are biurete test for proteins, Benedict test for reducing sugar, iodine test for starch, Sudan IV test for lipids. They show the presence of corresponding biochemicals.

Out of these the biurete test which for protein detection can be said to be relied on the polarities. It is because this test finds the presence of peptide bonds. We know that the peptide bonds are polar in nature. So by this method it identifies the proteins.
