Answer #1

The DNA polymerase can only synthesize a new strand in 5' to 3' direction. So, DNA polymerase synthesis leading strand continuously. Since DNA polymerase cannot synthesize a new strand in 3' to 5' direction so, the lagging strand is synthesized discontinuously and this lagging strand is synthesized in a short stretch called Okazaki fragments.

leading strand DNA Polymosiose VI Tagging DNA bolynocase IV DNA bolumerase

The leading strand grows continuously and lagging strands are synthesized discontinuously.

The leading strand requires one primer and the lagging strand requires multiple primers.

Please give a thumbs up!!!!!!!! Ask any doubts regarding the above question in the comment section !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
