Before the internet, we had the power to maintain our privacy. We were away from the glair of the outside world in mere concrete walls of our houses was enough to secure our private lives with some exceptions, such as government. But, after the internet has been introduced and developed we are more accessible to the world through the various social networking sites and private multinational companies. Location services of our phones, our camera, and various video blogging sites and apps such as Instagram, and Tiktok even let it possible for a complete stranger to get a hold of our own private life without much effort and hard work. Along with that cyber hacking is one of the biggest threats to our privacy. Hackers hack several computers at a time and cause massive privacy theft.
