I'm writing a paper about teaching deaf students. I need some instructional content on ways to teach them,  How will I structure the environment of the classroom and how will I incorporate technology in teaching these deaf students. I need at least 3 paragraphs worth of information. Thank You

Deaf children or hearing impaired children can be taught in a specially structured environment for their learning .The environment must be free from visual distractions and must be well lit without any physical or emotional disturbances. This is in order to prevent sensory overload that will cause a hinderance in learning. Teaching can be made practical with the use of sign language with adequate environmental stimulations.

Technology can be incorporated with the help of assistive devices such as inductive loops which will help to enhance the hearing process in cases if a lecture where the child has partial hearing loss. In cases where the children have post lingual hearing loss , they may or may not acquire a benefit from the listening devices.

Video presentations along with the help of articles such as listening devices can be used after specifically identifying the medical background of the students. Always train the children in such a way that they would accomoaccom themselves in the front and close to the teaching sources or teacher as possible.
