the case is a robotic prostatectomy. The robot has been docked and the surgeon is at the console operating. He runs into some bleeding that he can not get under control which results in him having to make the decision to undock the robot and open the patient emergently. 

1. List the instrumentation and supplies that is needed for the open procedure. 

2. List the disadvantages for the patient has a result of having to convert to an open prostatectomy.

3. When doing robotic cases, do you think it should be pulled as a possible open procedure in the event the surgeon has to convert to open?
