Purpose of selling expenses report is to analyze selling expenses incurred compared to budget. Senior management and sales leader's should be receipent of sales expenses
Result of management analysis report
Selling expenses are not isolated and should be seen along with the sales growth. It may have been scenario that sales expenses has exceed budget but sales has also grown.
If increase in selling expenses (Over its buget) is along with the increase in sales growth management analysis report should highlight the same.
If sales increse not in line with revenue increase management report should give reason for variance.
