Manager must address management of misbhevior and it is important responsibility because misbhevior can cause many issues in the organization which affect profitability of business.There are misbehavior in almost all organization so managers must know how to handle them otherwise it can cause chaos and bring legal issues to the organization and manager.
Manager is the leader of his team so he is responsible for the action of his employees.for example- If there is a coworker passing abusing comment to an female employee and touching her inappropriately then this forms misbehavior.then it is responsibility of manager to correct this issue because first thing female employee will go and ask for help of manager. if manager does nothing then employee have option to go to court and file suit to company.
Misbehavior can also affect image of company and profit. for example- a sales person is found to be personal and argue with customers then it would affect customer relationship with company. that customer will not come again.
The things a manager can do to stop such misbehavior by having strict policies in place to probihit misbehavior like abuse,fights,inappropriate comments,drinking,smoking etc.second have disciplinary action like punishment, demotion, termination of employment etc.
