collecting regular feedback on performance of team members assist managers in identifying the learning needs of individuals by:

  1. Helping managers to set effective performance goals. The timely and effective feedback to managers is an essential component in that it helps in management performance activities. The managers are able to identify the learning needs of the team members and therefore come up with or set training programs that suit those goals and therefore help in improving performance.

2.The timely information collected enable the managers to know where the employees are not doing well and therefore they are able to know the learning needs of individualss and be able to take the right steps towards improvements.

3.The timely information helps in specifying the specific places and departments where improvements needs to be done and hence the managers are able to identify the learning needs of the individuals.
