♦ As outlined in this week's reading, give two examples of how text alignment is controlled between margins using indents. Explain how these indents are used and when they are appropriate to apply.

♦ Why is it useful to be able to set and use tab stops in Word? Describe when you might use a decimal tab and a tab with a leader?

Answer 1.Two examples of how text alignment is controlled between margins using indents.

• When ever we need to indent a paragraph we need to select that whole paragraph position or position that paragraph and press (Control + M) This command will indent a paragraph by half a inch .

• You need to Select a Text tool (T) from the tool bar given at top of the bar

1. Click on the paragraph also
2. As for changing a margin the margin we need to draw a margin triangle .

2.  Indent is generally know as a Tab key it is appropriate to apply when to indent text , indent markers

it is generally when we need to indent a whole paragraph we use generally a tab selector and another way also called as horizontal rulers .

Answer 2. Tab stop is nothing but we genrally use it whenever we need to locate a cursor after a tab key is pressed It is generally used in word processsor where a user can align text  

Their are many type of tab stop such as :-

Center tab :- it is used to center the text

Right tab :- It is used to Right  align a text

Use of decimal tab

Decimal Tab :- It is used to align a decimal number by the help of decimal point .

--> Tab leader is generally present in a word processor Whic is seperated by a underscore with a tab key

It is also generally design for a particular tab stop .
