Chemistry help needed.
If I am asked to add # moles of X compound into a tube. How do I figure out how much to actually add?
EX: add 0.8345 moles of heptane tot he flask.
I'm guessing I would have to add a volume to the tube, so how do I go from MOLES TO A VOLUME perferbably mL? THNAK YOU!!!

I
am needing help finding the answers the first. I am just having a
bad brain fart and cant figure it out to save my life.
please show how you calculated it and found what you
did.
Thanks!!

Chemistry Solution Preparation Help! Hi, I will be making several "batch" solutions that will give insight into the behavior of americium-241 on a extraction resin, but am having trouble figuring out exactly how to get the right concentrations. Solutions: I have a 3M HNO3 solution and a Am-241 solution that is ~100 Bq/mL in 0.01 M HNO3. General Procedure as follows: 1) Mass 50 mg of resin into micro centrifuge tube 2) Precondition with 0.800 mL of HNO3 (at varying...

He plans to titrate the acid with 0.1800 M NaOH solution. a diprotic acid, into a 250. mL volumetric flask and dilutes to the mark with distill Calculate the volume of NaOH solution the student will need to add to reach the final equivalence point. Be sure your answer has the correct number of significant...
Chemistry Help I have a few questions I am working on but I have no idea where to get started, if someone could help me out and explain what you are doing it would be great because I am lost. These are the questions A 0.414 g sample of KHP will be titrated with a NaOH solution with an assumed concentration of 0.100 M. Calculate the volume of NaOH that should neutralize the KHP sample. In a titration of 20.00...
I'm having trouble filling out these charts, for the first
chart (standard solutions) I found the mols for the concentration
for SCN- so I am assuming it would be the same for FeNcs? For A.5
how do I figure out the percent transitmittance for each standard
solution.
For the second chart the volume is the same for the test
solutions 6-9 so would all of them have the same moles? For B4 I am
guessing to just divide the ml...
For Physical Chemistry: Greetings, I need urgent help with Physical Chemistry 1. I am using a book called Physical Chemistry by Levine. The author explains through integrals and derivatives. I am a bit lost, because I do not go very well in class, and I can not find videos that can explain me that way. The book has a chapter of The First Law of Thermodynamics and covers topics such as: pressure-volume work, enthalpy, heat capacities, the first law and...
I'm doing a titration lab tomorrow and I am not sure what the
formulas are to calculate the moles of NaOH, the moles of
HCl, and the molarity of HCl.
The objective of this laboratory is to determine the molarity of
a hydrochloric acid solution using a known concentration of sodium
hydroxide as the titrant.
volume of HCl in flask: 25.00 mL
the net ionic equation for the reaction is:
H+(aq) + OH-(aq) --> H2O(l)
I don't have the data...
I am having trouble with this. I did an experiment in physics and was asked to figure out what ? is using this formula T=2Square root (l/g). THe length is 38 cm but where does come into play and how do I figure it out? I do have data. Please help This is for a rod pendulum
How much 1000 mg/L Zeolite do I need to add to a 750 ml wastewater flask to go at a treatment of 10 mg/L Zeolite?
I am stuck on how to find concentration for standards and
unknowns. Any kind of help would be appreciated.
