How do I solve this in Excel to spit out the last Cash Flow given a certain IRR?

3. I am expecting a final CF payment on 7/1/2019. What wouild this cash flow need to be in order to achieve a 20% (rounded to nearest 0.013%] IRR Output the answer in cell D26. You need to use Goal seek function of excel.

Go to Data tab above , under that what if analysis , there you will.find Goal seek option. Click on that.

Before this, just calculate IRR of the cashflows in any cell say D10 using the function IRR,

Now choose goal seek option , a pop comes. There in the first cell , link that with your IRR formula that's =D10

In 2nd cell set to 20%

3rd cell, by changing link it to final cashflow cell.

Press OK and it will calculate your final.cashflow.
