When neural activity in your fusiform face area increases, the experimenter again awakens you, and you tell her you were dreaming about the face of a childhood friend. Write a paragraph discussing the question of whether these types of neural activity are candidates for neural correlates of consciousness.

Neuroimaging is a technique to investiagte the brain strucute or regional activities during sleep.Neural oscillations, or brainwaves, are rhythmic or repetitive patterns of neural activity in the central nervous system. Neural tissue can generate oscillatory activity in many ways, driven either by mechanisms within individual neurons or by interactions between neurons.

Parahippocampal lies in medially in the inferior temporooccipital cortex. It play important role in encoding and recogisation of enviornmaental scence rather than faces. This region of the brain becomes highly active when human subjects view topographical scene stimuli such as images of landscapes, cityscapes, or rooms (i.e. images of places). Therefore when experimentar awakens you at the time when you have increased neural activity in your parahippocampal region, you report you observe alittle house in woods. Whereas Fusiform face area located in ventral system on the ventral surface of the temporal lobe on the lateral side of fusiform gyrus. It plays major role in perception of face images. Therefore when experimentar awkens you at the the time when you have increased neural activity in the area of fusiform face area, you reported that you have seen the face of your childhood friend.

Neural activities in brain activates the different brain regions and they collect the information form the conciousness and forms a dream.
