Question

Given this information, what is the temperature of the parcel at the surface?

Being the leader of Earth can be boring at times. Because of this, I like to, from time to time, have a probe bring air from aloft down to the surface adiabatically. So let’s say I send a probe into the Stratosphere, and it collects a parcel of air at 155 mb. Further, let’s assume that the average air temperature where my probe is at 165 mb is 55 degrees C. The probe returns this air parcel to the surface (1000 mb) in an adiabatic fashion. Given this information, what is the temperature of the parcel at the surface?
