Case Study of a design approach to a user-centered interactive product.

my homework is  to write a report and a case study for an interactive product in the subject of human interaction with the computer. My teacher asked to write the stages of product design starting from analyzing the problem to evaluating the product, but I have no idea how to design this product and collect its data in addition to how to find the problem and explain it. Can you help?
