Answer- Given three gases namely, Helium, oxygen and nitrogen, and here we have to find out which one these gases particles have highest root mean square speed.

Now, as we all know from the Kinetic theory of gaess,

The root mean square speed of gas depends upon to factors namely the temperature and other one is Molecular mass of the gas.

Root mean square speed is directly proportional to square root of temperature and inversely proportional to square root of its molecular mass.

Since temperature and pressure for all gases are same ,so here root mean square speed is totally dependent upon its molecular mass .

Therefore, Helium have lowest molecular mass among all the gas ,

Hence Helium will have highest root mean square speed among all the given gases .

Therefore, option a is correct that is Helium.
