df = 11

a ) P ( t > t ) = 0.25

1 - P ( t < t ) = 0.25

P ( t < t ) 1 - 0.25

P ( t < t ) = 0.75

P ( t (11) > 0.697 ) = 0.25

t =0.697

b) df =17

P ( t < 2.11 )

= 0.9750

The area = 0.9750
