It is the point where the total revenue and total cost of the firm becomes equal. In this situation there is no profit since the revenue equals cost. So it is also called No Profit No Loss point.

The area between TR and TC functions is called the Profit Zone/π Zone when TC is less than TR. In this area the Total Revenue earned by the firm exceeds the Total Cost incurred by the firm. So it will be obviously profit.

74. C. π Maximzation Quanity

At the point of highest difference between Total Revenue and Total Cost Curve, the firm will get the profit maximization quanity of output.
