• Desegregation of central high school in little rock was one of the most talked and prominent about events in the 1950s.The policy was basically meant to reduce racial discriminations.
• Before desegregation,many states followed the policy of having seperate schools for white and black students.This was a mandatory law followed before the US Supreme court in its Brown vs Board of Education of Topeka,1954,considered segregation of schools unconstitutional.
