Standardization of data through codes is very important for the proper flow of information from local to universal healthcare organizations. When a common set of codes are used universaly, all the clinical observations about patient safety can be shared through an integrated framework more efficiently and this data can be broadly use for other research and experimental purposess. Common codes enables an effective assimilation of the varied data as an appopriate decision making tool like a caution of any newly reported drug contraindication, or the need for a structural change in the caring process.

These standardized codes that are used worldwide helps in interpreting the recorded death causes included in ICD-102. It enables the use of standardized health data in managing effective health service from local to state and state to national progressing to the international levels. The concept of ICD helps in effective storage of drug with timely extraction of information with deep analysis and comparability.

Whether a country follows all the guidelines of WHO in their healthcare or not but for every conditions there are assigned coders who translated the recorded data into standardized ICD codes.
