Suppose I was a colonist who owned a small business during the time leading up to the revolutionary war, I would join the oppression against the colonialists . That is because their rule in colonies is associated with crude exploitation ,there is oppression , exploitation and unconcern for human and civil rights.

The authoritative domination of colonialists makes the life of the normal citizens in a miserable situation. There was heavy tax collected from the people.There was high poverty suffered by people, also there was problems related to malnutrition and disease, cultural upheaval, economic exploitation and systematic programs created by them made a sence of social and racial inferiority. Colonisation had a severe impact on the Indian traders and merchants . Indian domestic market was captured by the colonialists and imposed high tax on the products. The products made by Indian's were given a cheap price. Indian products like spices were purchased at a very low price and sell it to other European countries at a high price and flourish their trade and prosperity.

As a tax collector for the English government, I worked with out heart and brain.They uses violence in some cases of tax collection . But I can not spell a single word by opposing the English government. They don't value the life of colonists.As tax is a mandatory liability for every citizen of the country. There are several direct and indirect taxes.The high tax was demanded from citizens irrespective of whether there is production take place or not. The excessive taxation makes poverty. But the colonialists do not make any changes to the tax collection because it was a revenue for them.
