In general, non competitive inhibition is thought to be a type of allosteric inhibition. All noncompetitive inhibitions are a part of allosteric inhibition but it is not the case vice versa. Allosteric inhibition can be competitive or non competitive.

In allosteric inhibition regulatory molecule does not bind to the active site of the enzyme and results in a conformational change.

In non competitive inhibition activity of the enzyme itself is reduced by binding of an inhibitor which does not bind to the active site.
