Strikes such as for unfair labor practices, Economic strikes, etc. are protected by NLRA. It further protects the employees from engaging in other concerted activities or to refrain from such activities that are undertaken for unionization purpose. No amount of coercion or force is lawful under the Act though. However, to engage in the act of self-promotion is not protected by the NLRA.
