Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is basically interference due to electrical and magnetic circuit.
Nowadays, mechanical controls are replaced by electrical controls and electrical circuits and actuators are implemented in automobiles. These circuits and coils introduced the EMI in automobiles. EMI can be caused by two means
1. By counduction- if there is direct contact with electrical devices.
2. Induction- due to induction , mainly from magnetic circuits, coils and transformer.
Also, Harmonics in the circuits due to MOSFETs, BJTs,etc and motors produce interferences in other devices.
