Find the force necessary to start the crate moving, given that the mass of the crate is 32 kg and the coefficient of static friction between the crate and the floor is 0.57.

for vertical equilibrium of crate;

F*sin21 + mg = N
=> 0.358*F + 32*9.8 = N

For the crate to start moving;
u*N = F*cos21
=> 0.57*(0.358*F +32*9.8) = F*cos21
=> 0.204*F + 178.752 = 0.934*F
=> F = 244.866 Newton
