Network:- Network is defined as the collection of network devices through which a large number of people surrounding the world are connected to each other and share the data and information. These network devices are likes computers,servers , mainframes, peripheral devices like mouse keywords speaker,various hardware devices, router and many more devices.

Network is made of network devices .

The best example of network is Internet.Through Internet a millions of people are connected and sharing the data.

There are various types of network:-

LAN -Local Area network

MAN- metropolitan Area network

WAN -WORLD AREA NETWORK

Local area networks operates only in small ranges like in an organization or society.And main benefit of it that it is easy to troubleshoot while any default or maintaince.

Metropolitan Area network operators over a City. It can be say that it connects two or more LAN

Wide area network operates in largery area.like in country or State.

It connects two or more MAN.
