Entropy is the degree of randomness or disorderness of the system . For the molecules with similar physical states , molar masses and equal number of atoms , the entropy trend can be predicted by their vibrational modes.

So here , the molecule having greater molar entropy are :

a) CO2 : this is because CO2 has two stretch modes whereas CO has only 1.

b) Propane : Propane has two torsional modes. These modes are absent in cyclopropane.

c) pentane : The torsional modes in both the molecules are similar. But the presence of four bulky groups in neopentane make it sterically hindered , so pentane has greater entropy than neopentane.
