If Government increased its spending G by $50 billion, it will be added directly in GDP as GDP = C + I + G + (X – M) but when government increases the taxes it will not affect the GDP directly as seen in the formula as there is a money multiplier effect of G

Hence if GDP rises, AE intercept will rise.
