ionization energy E = hv

h =plalck's constant = 6.626 *10^-34 J.s

v = wavenumber = 7.407*10^5 cm^-1

frequency = wavenymber * speed of light = (7.407* 10^5) cm ^-1 * (3*10 ^10) cm/s

= 22.22 * 10^15 s^-1

Energy = (6.626 * 10^-34) J.s * (22.22 * 10^15) s^-1

= 1.47 * 10^-17 J
