order :    HCOOH (l) < CH3COOH (l) < CH4 (g)

explanation:

reason is that gases have more randomness than liquids. randomness is the measure of entropy. so CH4 will be more entropy

now HCOOH and CH3COOH in between these CH3COOH high molar mass so it will have high entropy.

entropy increases with increase in molar mass of the compound

suppose if C2H4 (g) is also given then order is given below and you can compare gaseseos molar mass

HCOOH (l) < CH3COOH (l) < CH4 (g) < C2H4 (g)
