I am giving and explaining all the answers.

5) Current level in a computer is much lower than what is being sensed. So it needs to be stepped down. The most suitable interface is an optocoupler MOC 3020 chip which isolates the sensing and computer circuitries without any electrical contact. ACS712 sensor can also be used which steps down current and has USB connects available.

6) To interface a gas measuring unit, we need a sensor that converts the amount of gas whether oxygen or carbon dioxide to a proportional voltage or current at a level measurable by the computer. One such chip that serves the same purpose for oxygen is O2I Flex Oxygen sensor. It converts pressure of oxygen between current level 4-20 mA.

7) Similar principle like oxygen is employed for carbon dioxide. The chip used is MH-716 which converts the gas pressure into 4-20 mA current which is sensed by the computer circuitry.
