When the latitude is increased, them we go fr the equator to the poles side. The graph depicts that seed heebivory is decreased with increase in lattitude. There are dollowing reasons for this:

  1. With increase in latitude, the temperature​​​​​ decreases. That's why the animals abundance is also decreased with increase in latitude. And heribovry effect is less.
  2. With decrease in temperature, the plant adapt themselves in such a way that it can produce thickened seeds. The thickened seeds protect the embryo from cold effect. This thickened seeds can not eat by the herbivores. That's why the herbivory is reduced.
