13. Amount of heat added(q) = m* c* \Delta T

Where C is the specific heat,

Delta T = change in temperature

And m = mass of metal

Now, same amount of heat is added to same of mass of all the metals whose initial temperature is same

temperature change depends on specific heat

Specific heat is the heat required to change the temperature of 1g of substance by 1oC

i.e. lower is the C value lower is the more temperature is increased.

From given values, Gold has lower C value

Thus, Gold has highest temperature.

\DeltaT = temperature

K = units of temperature = Kelvin

q = heat change

C= specific heat capacity
