AISTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS: Cellulitis

OPERATIVE PROCEDURE. Biopsy of the right hip cellulitis


ANESTHESIA: 1% Xylocaine


INDICATIONS FOR PROCEDURE: The patient is a 73-year-old Caucasian male who is critically ill. The patient has developed cellulitis of his right tip, and a biopsy was needed for diagnostic purposes for culture.


DESCRIPTION OF PROCEDURE The patient was prepped with Betadine volution. One percent Xylocaine was used as local An elliptical incision who used to excise a segment of skin The segment of skin was divided for microbiology examination and also pathologic examination. The specimens were sent. Hemostasis was obtained using pressure. The Incision was then approximated with 3-0 nylon suture Dressing was applied. The patient tolerated the procedure.
