Your patient is bleeding profusely from the scalp then we apply direct pressure with a sterilize gauze.
After securing your trauma patient onto a long backboard . We should immediately assess Sensory , pulse, and motor function.
A patient has diminished breath sounds on one side. Chest rise is unequal. We should suspect pneumothorax.
A patient has bruising around the eyes and behind the ears, you should suspect Basilar skull fracture.
A 24 year old male sustained burns to his eyes, nose and mouth when the radiator cap on his car blew off we should treat for soft tissue injuries.
