1Kilo base (Kb) DNA = 1000 neucleotides.

so for a single strand DNA its 1000 neucleotide...and for double standed it will be 1000+1000= 2000 neucleotides.

Here we have to get 20 KDa protein.

calcultation is like that.

For 20 KDa = 0.5 Kb DNA we need.

So here 0.5 Kb = 500 neclueotides approx!! [As we know 1Kb (kilobase ) DNA (single stranded) = 1000 neucloetides]

So answer will be 500 Kb.
